Vancouver Wheelmen Monthly Vintage Only Ride! - This is the season opener for the monthly rides, meet-up at the "Angry Birds" in front of the Legacy Liquor Store 1633 Manitoba St. (map) in Olympic Village Square at High Noon. This is a casual ride and all are welcome, bikes must be 1969 or older. Bring out your finest old steel for a slow roll!

Jason's Annual Birthday Celebration! - Yes it's the day before St. Paddy's Day Cruiser Ride so get your green on and meet up at the London Pub, 700 Main Street Vancouver (map) (Georgia and Main) around High Noon for some Irish pre-fueling. This is a casual cruiser ride and all bikes are welcome. We roll out at 1:00-ish where ever Jason takes us, it's always a blast! - Rain or Shine!

2013 - Vancouver Bike Show Type: Public Event

It's the 3rd Annual Vancouver Bike Show! - Held at Vancouver Convention Centre 1055 Canada Place (West Building) (map). Cycling's largest manufacturers showcasing the newest bikes and products for the 2013 season. The best in Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Touring, Triathlon and BMX! Meet with Vancouver's most competent and competitive cycling retailers - more details

New this Year: Your 3 to 10 year old kids will enjoy the Kranked Kids Zone for skills, tips and safety training by the pros. Check out the Trials Stars performing their exciting “trials style” manoeuvres twice daily in the Bike Features Area.

Back this Year: The Pink Bike Lounge with the Sombrio Pump Track area kicking off their “42 week international tour” at the Vancouver Bike Show. Watch the pros and get a chance to try the course. Also the Cycle Stage for Bike Fashion Shows, Cycle skills training, events and travel seminars.

Meet the Pros and Champions: Geoff Gulevich, Thomas Vanderham, Andreas Hestler, Brett Tippie, Jay “Hoots”, Holly Feniak, Axel Merckx and more!

The Wheelmen: Check out the vintage original cruiser bikes at the vintage bike display (#1431) provided by Vancouver Wheelmen (vintage bicycle club) and later this year the Vintage Swap Meet.

Happy New Year from Vancouver Bicycle Rides! - Thanks to all that have visited our website in 2012 and signed up to Ride Alerts! We hope in making this year the best ever as the number of people cycling continues to grow and Vancouver becomes a more sustainable city.

It's that time of year again! - We are now accepting submissions and loading up the calendar for the 2013 cycling season. If you have a race, ride, event or fundraiser recurring again this year you can send in your details and poster for early posting. We will be contacting all cycling events/rides from last year in advance but early submissions get more exposure.

Rod's Calendar Party! - If your hosting a ride/event associated with Rods Cruiser Rides then come on down to hash out the dates and say hello. If your not going to be in town or can't make it email your details to reserve your date at rides@vancouverbicyclerides.com or rod@cruisrkirkham.com - Party starts at 7:00pm at the Morrissey Pub, 1227 Granville Street, Vancouver.

Winter Solstice

Annual Winter Solstice Cruiser Ride! - Meet up at The Cambie Bar & Grill (map) 300 Cambie Street Vancouver around 7:00pm. We roll out at 8-ish around the seawall heading towards the Stanley Park Miniature Train to check out the Christmas Light Displays and Listen to Holiday Classics. Pumpkin Ride

Ladner Pumpkin Ride Type: Cruiser Ride
Saturday October 6th 12:00pm

Annual Ladner Pumpkin Cruiser Ride! - Meet at the Riverhouse Pub and Marina, 5825 60th Ave, Delta (map) at 12:00pm. We roll out at 1:00pm along the Fraser River before heading out into the farms & fields of Ladner, out past Roberts Bank and on to the dike to ride north to Westham Island. Stop for some Pumpkin Wine & Pumpkin Pie at the Westham Island Fruit Winery (free tastings!) and then back to the pub - CANCELLED if it Rains!

1st Wed Ride

Rod's 1st WEDNESDAY of the MONTH RIDE     Type: Cruiser Ride
        Wednesday Oct 3rd 7:00pm

1st Wed of the Month Cruiser Ride! - We meet up at Pat's Pub & Brewhouse 403 east Hastings Street Vancouver (map) around 7:00pm for pre-fueling and great food. There's plenty of parking plus you can bring your bike inside, if you can't make it at Pats then we usually try to be at the 9:00 gun at Stanley Park - Rain or Shine!
